FitnessPilates Classes in Eardisland
A lovely workout covering strength, toning, flexibility and posture. Different levels of how to perform the exercises are given to allow everyone to reach their potential and to use a level suitable to their ability and fitness level.
The class starts with Standing work where we warm up the body and mobilise the joints. We practice balance and work on improving our posture ready for the mat work.
Mat work is performed in sitting, kneeling, supine (lying on the back), prone (lying on the front) and side lying. These different positions enable work to be directed to different muscles in alternative ways.
My aim is to make sure everyone works safely and correctly in their technique in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
The classes are suitable for everyone in good health and with a fairly average degree of fitness.
Tuesdays 9.45am – 10.45am and 11.10am – 12.10pm
